Western Projects were engaged by Curtin University to complete the installation of the John Curtin Artwork located adjacent to the new Curtin Central bus port.
The impressive set of brass sculptures were created by internationally acclaimed artist Walter Jack to honour the significant contribution of Australia’s 13th Prime Minister and University namesake, Mr John Curtin. Western Projects worked in collaboration with Walter Jack to develop installation methods and fixing details to ensure protection of the artwork was always upheld.
Developed to create a communal space for reflection, the artwork sculpture stands proud on the Bentley campus. With a seamless installation process, Western Projects completed the project with minimal disruption to the surrounding University environment and on time to meet the artwork’s commission.
