LA SALLE COLLEGE CONTEMPLATION SPACE

Project Value: $100K
Superintendent: Parry and Rosenthal Architects

Western Projects were engaged by Parry and Rosenthal Architects to build a contemplation space at the entrance of La Salle College located in the Swan Valley. The works involved the construction of a new curved pre-cast concrete wall, curved concrete seat and installation of an impressive 3.5 meter tall bronze statue. The contemplation space was designed to celebrate the Tercentenary of the death of St John Baptist de La Salle, holding significant importance to La Salle College staff and students. Installation of paving with recessed up-lights and reticulated hedging were undertaken by the Western Projects in-house construction team to complete the area.

The works were successfully completed, with minimal disruption to La Salle College operations and in time for the statue unveiling event.
