Western Projects were engaged to complete the ACP panel replacement to UWA’s Business School Facade, a striking building with architecturally curved sections and copper metallic coloured cladding.
With extensive experience in ACP mitigation works, Western Projects worked with Ferguson Architects to develop a compliant solution to meet the latest NCC guidelines. In consultation with industry professionals and consultants, our team worked with the Builder Surveyor, Structural Engineer and Fire Engineer to develop compliant installation and fixing systems for the replacement panels. This was made particularly challenging by the curved and perforated sections of the building’s cladding.
Onsite works were coordinated to ensure minimal disruption to the building occupants and surrounding live University environment. This project examples our expertise in collaborative contracting to provide solution-driven responses to challenging project scopes.
